You can easily break grading 📝 an essay 📓 in You can easily break grading 📝 an essay 📓 into smaller parts by having your students: 🖌 highlight the thesis statement, 🔎circle transitions, underline examples of work choice🎨 or sentence fluency 🧩, etc. 

You will quickly read 📖the whole essay, but the grade comes from the specific element(s) that were the focus of the lesson and identified by the students. 

This strategy will save you tons of time ⏰ and will result in students writing ✏️better essays.
